Infant CST (Craniosacral Therapy) Training for Practitioners
Babies as young as a few minutes old can benefit from the subtle touch of CST to ease muscle tension resulting from time in the womb and/or birthing process. CST can help infants experiencing latch/feeding issues, head-turning preferences (torticollis), reflux/digestion issues, flat spots/brachycephaly/plagiocephaly, colic, chronic ear or sinus infections. Infant CST (Craniosacral Therapy) Training for Practitioners offers an evidence-based and hands-on approach to learning and treatment. Students will learn about pre-birth, birth, newborn and infant anatomy, the benefits of CST for babies, intake, assessment and treatment techniques. Students will watch and discuss treatments given by the instructor and will themselves be providing treatments on the 4th and 5th days of the course and discussing those treatments on the final day during clinic case reviews. Students will leave the course with all the necessary tools and knowledge to immediately begin working with babies. Prerequisite: CST Level 1 with Linden (Linda) Utting, Level 1 with Upledger or permission from the instructor based on practitioner's knowledge and background.
